Cativa

CATIVA spent a few months at the killing station of Ourense. The person who published Ausy in Facebook, asked us if we could also take CATIVA. He sent me a video of a dog walking up and down the cage. That was CATIVAs life in a cage. I was immediately heart-broken and could not say “no” to her. She travelled together with Ausy. CATIVA has been with us for a few days only, but her attitude has changed incredibly. On arrival she would run away from us and hide wherever possible. Now she will come to say hello in a very shy way, but for her that’s an enormous effort. CATIVA needs to be with a dog that trusts people. She learns very quickly for the other dogs reactions and I’m sure that will help her learn that not all humans are bad.
